Germinate 10 – The Pitch night was amazing!

We are taking your word for it! The ilab UQ Germinate 10 startups rocked the stage in front of a 100+ crowd of fellow entrepreneurs, seasoned investors and members of the Brisbane entrepreneurial community. With ilab Director, Bernie Woodcroft, MC for the night, setting the (energetic) tone, our teams ended their 3 months accelerator program with fireworks. They were out to impress and did exactly that. If you missed it, the night was caught on tape and you can hear from our startups here.

UQ at The Precinct – The Launch

Prior to the Germinate 10 pitch night, the University of Queensland was first on stage via Professor Peter Høj (Vice-Chancellor and President – The University of Queensland) and Professor Iain Watson (Director External Engagement – The University of Queensland) officially launched the UQ space at The Precinct. Another step towards growing entrepreneurship and innovation at UQ and embedding it into the wider entrepreneurial ecosystem.  Innovation, startups and entrepreneurship are a connected game and this space will be an important gateway for ideas, innovations, interns, founders, mentors and investment to flow between UQ and the startup eco-system.

Let’s also re-live the night in pictures – check our album on Facebook.

Coming up, a new global startup accelerator program! Stay tuned! …
